Coming from a family of entrepreneurs in the real estate and entertainment industries, Madison Blau BenShimon, 26, long aspired to owning a business. She earned her real estate license during college at Washington University in St. Louis and her broker’s license soon after graduation. Passionate about residential architecture and design, BenShimon specializes in luxury homes. It’s a niche that requires a keen eye for detail and an intimate understanding of the construction, materials, finishes, and locations of each property. “My role is to convey what makes these properties special and help buyers envision their lives there,” she says. Outside of work, BenShimon and her husband are oenophiles, with an extensive collection of Napa Valley cabernets. She recently enjoyed her first pour in nine months, toasting the birth of her daughter—the next family entrepreneur?
