Betting on Herself
Logan Geddie, 28, believed she needed “real world” experience before she could help people make one of the largest financial decisions of their lives. “I thought to myself, who’s going to buy a house from a 22-year-old?” She soon changed her mindset and focused on developing the expertise she needed to serve her clients. But she didn’t just concentrate on a high-demand niche; Geddie found three. “I grew up on a horse farm and understand that lifestyle,” she says, noting it has drawn many clients to her. Based near the U.S. Army base at Fort Bragg, N.C., Geddie has also cultivated a specialty with military relocation clients. “Anything I can do to make their transition smoother is a priority.” Her third niche: new construction. Geddie’s a listing agent for four local builders. Diving into her work on all cylinders quickly helped her shed those early self-doubts.
