The weather wasn’t ideal, but heavy rain, localized flooding, and reports of severe thunderstorms in the surrounding area didn’t keep more than 2,000 attendees of the REALTORS® Conference & Expo from showing up for the REALTORS® Relief Run early Saturday morning.
Runners started and finished on Boston Common, a national landmark and the oldest city park in America. The 5k race raised $100,000 for the REALTORS® Relief Foundation, the New England Center and Home for Veterans, St. Francis House, and Friends of Boston Homeless.
Stephen Malta crossed the finish line first, followed by Brian Toohey and Deborah Blom, who took first place in results broken out by gender.
