2024 NAR Public & Federal Issues Liaison

Seth Task (AHWD, C2EX, CRS), a licensed REALTOR® since 2005, is the 2024 Public & Federal Issues Liaison. He is currently affiliated with BHHS Professional Realty, home to The Task Team. Over the last two years, The Task Team has assisted over 250 clients in residential and commercial transactions.

Seth has been actively engaged in local, state, and national REALTOR® associations as an industry leader. He served as President of the Akron Cleveland Association of REALTORS® in 2014 and as Ohio REALTORS® President in 2021.

At the National Association of REALTORS®, Seth has served on the Board of Directors since 2016 and is currently an RPAC Fundraising Trustee for Region 6. He previously chaired both the Federal Finance & Housing Policy Committee and the Conventional Financing & Policy Committee.

Recognized for his real estate contributions, Seth was selected for NAR’s Leadership Academy Class of 2015 and received the 2017 Ohio REALTOR® of the Year award. He is a member of the NAR RPAC Hall of Fame and the Ohio REALTORS® RPAC Hall of Honor. Seth has also appeared before the Federal Reserve Bank, FHFA, the Veterans Administration, Rural Housing Services, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development as an expert in his field.

At home, Seth served on the Board of Directors of the Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Cleveland, which merged into Cleveland Housing Network -- an organization that focuses on homeowner education, foreclosure prevention, and affordable housing opportunities. He is currently part of the Planning & Development Committee of Future Heights, a community development corporation (CDC) serving Cleveland Heights. Additionally, Seth serves as the Treasurer of the Gates Mills Elementary School Parent Teacher Club.

Seth’s passion for enhancing the lives of his clients, advocating for homeowners’ rights, and advancing the real estate industry has driven his service at every level. He resides in Gates Mills, Ohio, with his wife Lesley and his sons, Ryan and Elliot. His daughter, Madison, is a graduate of The Ohio State University and resides in Columbus.
