The National Association of REALTORS® awarded the DIAMOND Global Achievement Program Award to the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS® Global Business Committee at the Annual Conference & Expo in San Francisco, CA. The Association staff and volunteer leaders have demonstrated six consecutive years of consistently high levels of achievement in the five evaluated categories: Business Plan, Marketing & Communication, Events/Education, Outreach, and Benchmarking.

In addition to excelling in the above categories consistently for the past 6 years, the GLVAR Global Business Committee continually provides information on the local international real estate perspective. Using data from State and Local Government agencies, Las Vegas Visitors Convention Authority, and the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance in addition to tracking foreign sales data through their MLS. They also provide their members with marketing material on the benefits of relocating to Southern Nevada for use with their foreign buyers and sellers. Through years of research and support, this association understands the impact that foreign buyers and sellers have on their market and spend time educating their members in order to provide their community with the experts they need.

Additionally, GLVAR Global Business Committee has hosted numerous inbound and outbound trade missions to further foster relationships for their members to build their networks and expand their understanding. They also have begun working hand-in-hand with their neighboring states of California and Arizona to build a strong west coast global connection.

In 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, the GLVAR Global Business Committee received the Platinum Achievement Award. In 2012and 2013 they received Gold.
