The National Association of REALTORS® awarded the 2019 Platinum Global Achievement Program Award to the Tampa Bay International Real Estate Council of the Greater Tampa REALTORS® at the Annual Conference & Expo in San Francisco, CA. The Association staff and volunteer leaders demonstrated high levels of achievement in the five evaluated categories: Business Plan, Marketing & Communication, Events/Education, Outreach, and Benchmarking.

In addition to excelling in the above categories and providing their members with quality networking and education events, the Tampa Bay International Real Estate Council expanded on their marketing strategy for “Why Tampa” and in 2019 produced a video series to coincide with the brochure they launched in 2018. The videos are available to all of their members to share with their clients and customers. In addition to this, they worked with the Tampa Chamber and used the “Make it Tampa Bay” marketing materials to supplement their materials during the REALTOR®Quest tradeshow in Toronto, Canada. Also, in order to increase educational course interest and promote the international aspect of their market, GTR staff visited over 30 offices, representing over 2,500 GTR members and that resulted in a 30% year-over-year increase in attendance for their CIPS courses.  

In 2018, Tampa Bay International Real Estate Council received Platinum. In 2014, 2016, and 2017 they held Gold.
