Leigh Brown (ABR®, AHWD, C2EX, CIPS, CRS, e-PRO®, SFR®, SRES®), a REALTOR® in Concord, N.C., for over 20 years, was the National Association of REALTORS® Vice President of Advocacy in 2021.
Leigh is broker-owner of One Community Real Estate, where she also leads the Leigh Brown & Associates sales team as a top-selling North Carolina practitioner.
A second-generation REALTOR®, Leigh came to the industry to work with her father after determining corporate life wasn’t for her. She previously worked as a stock broker and as a business development manager for Husqvarna before bringing her sales background to real estate.
Leigh currently sits on the REALTORS® Relief Foundation board, a nonprofit founded after 9/11 to provide housing-related assistance to disaster victims. In 2018, she served as chair of the RPAC Trustees Fundraising Committee. In 2017, she was national president of the Residential Real Estate Council. And from 2012 to 2015, she served on NAR’s Federal Financing and Housing Policy Committee.
At the state level, she chaired the North Carolina REALTORS® Legislative Committee in 2020.
Leigh is an RPAC Hall of Famer, and an international sales and motivational speaker, trainer, and author.
In her community, she holds volunteer board positions in service of Habitat for Humanity in Cabarrus County and the Harrisburg (N.C.) branch of the Cannon Memorial YMCA.
Leigh is a graduate of the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. She lives in Harrisburg, N.C., with her husband, Steve; her children, Cora and Tim; and three cats (who happen to be available for adoption).
