The National Association of REALTORS® awarded the 2019 Platinum Global Achievement Program Award to the Greater Bergen REALTORS® at the REALTORS® Annual Conference & Expo in San Francisco, CA. The Association staff and volunteer leaders demonstrated high levels of achievement in the five evaluated categories: Business Plan, Marketing & Communication, Events/Education, Outreach, and Benchmarking.

In addition to excelling in the above categories, in 2019 the Greater Bergen REALTORS® went through a large merger of two boards and the result was a much larger 7700 member board. Through the merger they kept global as a priority and came out with a stronger, more focused Global Business Council. Recognizing the opportunity to join forces with some of the New York REALTOR® associations in their global efforts, they became the first New Jersey REALTOR® Association to partner in the annual Global Real Estate Summit in Manhattan, New York in the fall of 2019, thereby continuing to connect their members to new and exciting opportunities in the global marketplace in their own backyard.

In 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2015, the EBCBOR Global Business Council received the Platinum Achievement Award. Prior to that, in 2013 and 2014, they held Gold.
