Submitted by A Design Partnership
A Design Partnership, a public relations firm for designers, asked some of its leading clients nationwide to show off their favorite dad-inspired home designs. Use their creative works below as inspiration to make a Father’s Day gift list for dads who may be looking to spruce up their homes.
The Pampered Dad
Designer Marlaina Teich recently completed a project for a professional New York baseball player that included a spa oasis and in-home barbershop. Although we can’t all have our own personal salons, consider giving dad a gift card to his favorite salon or spa this Father’s Day.
Stock the Bar
The team at Louisiana-based Thomas Guy Interiors likes to add special touches to clients’ bars and offices. As seen below in their project photo, the designers added a bar setting and special mementos into the space. This year, consider giving dad all the ingredients to make his favorite cocktail, complete with new bar tools.
Grill Master
Many men like to take the reins when it comes to grilling outside. Using Oklahoma designer Mel Bean’s work as inspiration, consider getting dad a state-of-the-art meat thermometer, pizza stone, or outdoor refrigerator to enhance his cooking experience.
Game Night
For competitive dads, consider a game set the whole family can play together. As seen below, designer Marlaina Teich incorporates playful games throughout her spaces to add some fun and whimsy.
Ultimate Outdoor Must-Haves
The ultimate gift for dad is his own backyard haven. Whether he likes to lounge by the pool, spend work-from-home days outdoors, or dine outside with family and friends--a customized cabana may be the answer. And the king of all cabanas, Cabana X, has just made its debut.
StruXure, a designer and manufacturer of modern-day pergolas, offers outdoor cabanas that can be personalized and includes features like motorized adjustable louvers, post height adjustments, controlled LED lights, and an app. With only a few clicks, you can create a cabana and have it shipped to dad’s door, and installation is simple.
