The National Association of REALTORS® awarded the 2017 Platinum Global Achievement Program Award to the Silicon Valley Association of REALTOR®’s Global Business Council at the Annual Conference & Expo in Chicago, IL. The Association staff and volunteer leaders demonstrated high levels of achievement in the five evaluated categories: Business Plan, Marketing & Communication, Events/Education, Outreach and Benchmarking.

In addition to being a self-sustaining group with expenses of over $55,000 annually and excelling in the above categories, in 2017 SILVAR’s Global Business Council also continued to provide educational programming that was highly sought after by their members. Among the best-attended courses at SILVAR in 2016-2017 were their global education immigration programs and international technology courses. They continued their support of the multiple ethnic real estate associations in their area and hosted an Inbound Trade Mission from NARs partner in Brazil, SECOVI.  

In 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016, the SILVAR Global Business Council received the Platinum Achievement Award.
