The National Association of REALTORS® awarded the 2017 Platinum Global Achievement Program Award to the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®’s MORe Global Committee and Council at the Annual Conference & Expo in Chicago, IL. The Association staff and volunteer leaders demonstrated high levels of achievement in the five evaluated categories: Business Plan, Marketing & Communication, Events/Education, Outreach and Benchmarking.

In addition to excelling in the above categories, the MORe Global Committee and Council is a hive of activity both internally and externally and is something that is part of the fundamental core of what they do. “The community as a whole benefits from our efforts to facilitate global business for our members. Targeting our marketing to both members and the community highlights the opportunities that exist in the global market for everyone.” They continually work with groups inside their organization (Commercial Alliance, YPN, CCIM), their local and state community (AREAA, NAHREP, local and state Economic Development teams,), and other state and local associations in the US (MRED, Northern Illinois Commercial AoR, Chicago AoR, Illinois REALTORS®, Fox Valley AoR, Three Rivers AoR, MetroTex AoR and Texas AoR). In addition to those partners, they also work with multiple international partners (Swedish Association, AMPI, and Poland’s Real Estate Federation). Through all these efforts, many members of the MORe Global Council have risen to the state, national and even international level and are often sought after to share their knowledge and expertise.

In 2016 and 2015, MORe Global Real Estate Committee and Council received the Platinum Achievement Award. Prior to that, they held Gold in 2014 and Silver in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
